ABOUT THE EVENT /
​
Each year, 1 in 5 American adults experience a mental health issue and 1 in 6 young people experience a mental health disorder (NAMI, 2020).
​
For our senior advisory's 'Give a Hoot' community service project, we're hosting a 5K to raise awareness and funds for local mental health services and supports such as Johnson County Mental Health and the Olathe H.E.L.P. Clinic. You are not alone.

SCHEDULE /
7-8 AM
Sign-in for the race at the Olathe West Track.

Buy a beverage from the OWLspresso Cafe!
$1 of every purchase will be donated to Johnson County Mental Health and the Olathe Help Clinic.
8-12 PM
Race and celebrations!
​
Representatives from Johnson County Mental Health and the Olathe Help Clinic will be on site to answer questions and provide information about services/supports.
